Nikon viewnx i problems8/4/2023 ![]() ![]() The Nikon D7100 continues to ship with the 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR kit lens, which feels well-balanced on the Nikon D7100 and despite only having a plastic mount it fits into place with a reassuring mechanical click. The Nikon D7100 slots in below the existing D600 and above the D7000 models - note that it isn't actually replacing the D7000 (yet) in the Nikon DSLR lineup. The new Nikon D7100 is externally very similar to the D7000, so a lot of the comments that we made in our review of that camera apply equally to the D7100. Key highlights of the fully weather-sealed D7100 include Full 1080p movies up to 60i/50i and 30p/25p/24p with full-time autofocus and manual exposure control, an ISO range of 100-25600, a 2,016-pixel 3D Colour Matrix metering system, EXPEED 3 image-processing engine, 51-point Auto-focus system of which 15 are cross-type, 14-bit analogue-to-digital conversion, 6fps continuous shooting, 1.3x crop function, dust- and moisture-sealed magnesium alloy body, 1229k dot 3.2-inch LCD screen, and dual memory card slots. I tried the above method without success. The Nikon D7100 is a new prosumer DSLR camera with a 24.1-megapixel DX-format image sensor and no optical low-pass filter. ![]() Trying to install View NX-i, but get errors trying to uninstall View NX. Initially NX-i worked but after some updates installed automatically it would not load. I have done most of what you did and still get the same messages. I liked the program better than View NX2 and would prefer to use it again. Initially NX-i worked but after some updates installed automatically it would not load. Is this a common problem or just something with my system? I installed ViewNX 2 again hoping this will fix some registry entries or whatever. I removed all other Nikon software including the NEF codec and manually removed all Nikon temporary and AppData folders. Then I removed all registry entries connected with ViewNX or Nikon software including these ones. So I tried uninstalling ViewNX first in Control Panel. Finally, the attempts of uninstalling end with error 'This action is only valid for products that are currently installed.' and the installer starts over. The installer insists it must first uninstall ViewNX 2 - not nice but I want to go with it. I don't really know if this is Win 10 related or not because I used ViewNX 2 on Win 7, then upgraded to Win 10 and now I'm trying to install ViewNX-i. Can you install ViewNX-i on Windows 10? Whatever I try I can't do it. ![]()
